LORI ROBERTS

On one of her first assignments as an art director at AC&R in New York City, clients Foot Locker and Lady Foot Locker, had her rubbing elbows with the likes of Mia Hamm and Larry Bird for national print and TV campaigns. Her experience there lead to the position of Co-Creative Director at Earl Palmer Brown in Maryland and New York, working on Worldcom with Michael Jordan, Champion JogBra, Blue Cross and Hills Science Diet Pet Food.

A move to Grey Advertising in New York led to art directing brands such as Stove Top Stuffing, Botox Cosmetic, Clearasil and Advil. As Associate Creative Director, Lori ran the Playtex portfolio of accounts, both on- and off-line for seven brands including Wet Ones, Baby Einstein, Playtex Baby and Playtex Sport & Gentle Glide. At Grey, she had the opportunity to create a campaign for the Partnership for a Drug Free America.

A Stowe vacation left her with such a positive taste for Vermont, she left the city lights behind and relocated to the Burlington, Vermont area to work at the largest agency in Vermont–Kelliher, Samets, Volk. Lori was ACD/art director of the King Arthur Flour, Fairpoint Communications, National Grid, VITL (online health records) and Ellio’s Pizza accounts at KSV. In that role, she developed and designed not only for print and television but mobile, web, games, social media and online videos.

In 2011 Lori founded Perfect Circle Communications & Design (PCC&D) with the goal of bringing agency and big-brand experience to clients without all the layers found in a typical agency. For over 10 years she brought world-class creativity and thinking to a variety of local and regional clients. In 2020, she returned to NYC (virtually) to FCB Health where she currently is Group Art Supervisor on a variety of Sanofi brands.

Lori was the author of 5 Words About Advertising, a now-retired blog about the ad biz which was featured in Communication Arts Magazine as Site-of-the-Week. In 2016, PCC&D won “Best in Show” at the AIGA Vermont Design Awards for its Candelicious logo design work.

When not playing on the Mac, you’ll find her on the trails, the court or in the kitchen.
